In June 2023, you can be tested for HIV, syphilis, chlamydia and gonorrhoea at Checkpoint Zurich for only CHF 75 (instead of CHF 165), and even free of charge for those born in 1998 and younger. Fast, uncomplicated and anonymous if you wish. The offer from 1 to 30 June 2023 is only valid for men who have sex with men and trans people. The offer does not apply to PrEP users if the tests are covered by their health insurance as part of their follow-up. The tests at reduced rates may be fully booked because things are going so well. We are politically engaged with Aids-Hilfe to offer more discounted tests to our community.

No Walk-In! Please make an appointment online.
Why? The appointments help us to serve all clients drop by drop. Please arrive 10 minutes before the appointment. There may be waiting times despite an appointment. Unfortunately, we cannot accept walk-in clients.

Draw a ticket (select campaign). Register as usual at the reception.

You fill in the online questionnaire and wait for our counsellor to pick you up, take your blood and explain the smear tests.
Please note: If you need a detailed counselling, have symptoms or detailed questions, please book a regular HIV/STI check.

You can check your results online yourself. We will give you the access data at the appointment.

Discounted campaign price for HIV, syphilis, chlamydia and gonorrhea. For young people up to 25 years, the tests are free of charge. The offer is only for gay, bi and queer men and trans people.

We test HIV, syphilis, chlamydia and gonorrhea. For HIV and syphilis you will be given blood, for chlamydia and gonorrhea you will get a smear test.
Men who have sex with men:Yes!
Trans people? Yes, both trans men and trans women. Also non-binary oder queere Personen dürfen teilnehmen, sofern sie Sex mit Männern haben.
Lesbische, bi und queere Frauen? Nein; ausser sie haben Sex mit schwulen oder bisexuellen Männern.
Heterosexuelle cis Frauen? Leider nein.
Heterosexuelle cis Männer? Nein; ausser sie haben Sex mit Männern.
Unfortunately, not everyone can benefit from the discounted test This is because the Federal Office of Public Health defines some groups as particularly vulnerable in terms of HIV. During the campaign, however, we will continue to offer our regular STI tests. If you are unsure whether the favourable tests apply to you, please speak to one of our employees.

We prefer payment by card. You can pay with Maestro & credit cards and Twint during the campaign. Unfortunately, we cannot offer the old Postfinance card during the campaign. And cash is also possible, of course.
