In 2024, the Zurich Pride Festival took place at Landiwiese, and we had a permanent booth on the festival grounds. Visitors could stop by our large tent, where we offered free HIV tests on both days of the festival.
Our presence at the festival grounds allowed us to reach as wide an audience as possible and make it easier for people to get tested. In addition to Checkpoint staff, drag queens and friends of Checkpoint were also on site to support and inform you. Our team was available to answer any questions you might have.

Start Helvetiaplatz
The Pride parade took place on Saturday, June 15, and wound its way through downtown Zurich. The route began at Helvetiaplatz, continued along Stauffacher and Paradeplatz, then along General-Guisan-Quai, and ended at Mythenquai.
On our float, DJs Achtung B. and Novilon got the crowd going with their sets. Lots of people stopped by to celebrate with us!

Checkpoint Zürich
On the Tuesday before Pride, Checkpoint Zurich once again hosted an engaging panel discussion. The focus was on the needs of lesbians and queer people. We discussed this important topic back in 2023 and remain committed to it. Together with our panelists, we explored the hopes, concerns, and needs of the women-loving community regarding their sexual health.
