PrEP start (initial consultation)

We offer you PrEP start counselling sessions and the necessary routine checks. We can offer you an appointment promptly.

You can find PrEP centres that may have earlier appointment slots here: SwissPrEPared centres. You can also switch to Checkpoint Zurich at a later date. Your current centre will arrange the switch for you.

Appointments must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance via the link in the confirmation email.
In the event of delays, we cannot guarantee that your appointment will take place. Please arrive 10 minutes in advance and register at reception.
Do not urinate for 2 hours before a penis swabbing.

We are currently only available by telephone on a limited basis. Please request a call-back rather than phoning us. If you are experiencing severe symptoms or are in an HIV emergency situation (PEP), please come in straight away during our opening hours.
